What is Wagyu Beef and its benefits

Wagyu, literally refers to all Japanese beef cattle where ‘Wa’ means Japanese and ‘Gyu’ means cow. Initially, Wagyu were draft animals that were used in agriculture but were later selected for its physical endurance. The selection favored animals with more intra-muscular fat cells, or ‘marbling’ as we know of it, serves as a wonderful source of energy.
